Cutting
 

Cutting is an important process within Industrial Technology Timber. Any time you have a peice of material which needs to be re-sized or re-shaped, it must go through the Cutting Process. This can be done with Power Tools, Hand Tools, Drills or Sanding. Below you will find information regarding all these processes.

Power Tools

Power Tools are used in the workshop to take the majority of the manual labour out of cutting and shaping timber.

Hand Tools

Hand Tools are used in the workshop for applications where machines cannot be used. They are gernally alot safer than power tools.

Drilling

Sanding

Sanding processes are used to smooth or remove small amounts of material more accurately and cleanly than hand tools.
